What would happen if I was Teleporter?

Even as a child I always dreamed of having abilities that I knew I was incapable of acquiring. Yet still as a young adult I still come back to the simplistic idea of being able to travel the world within a blink of an eye. The ability I wish to still attain is teleporting! It could be used for multiple purposes like saving the world as well as personal adventures. If someone was in trouble I could be to their rescue in the blink of an eye. Or to the streets of Paris shopping for the afternoon, if I wished. If I was cold I could simply go to Hawaii for a quick break or to the movie store if I was board. What ever I choose? The option is completely up to me! Although, with a power such as this one could get over excited and use it in the wrong ways. What if I was getting in trouble...well I could simply just leave to where ever I wish. This "problem" would continue to spiral downwards until I hit rock bottom. Making me wonder if it truly is worth it? It is very tempting but in the end I think I could do without it. It would be hard to give it up at first but I would get used to the “normal” life of walking or taking the car.
